All Things Oootlanderrrr

I have been a fan of Herself, Diana Gabaldon for about 15 years.  It was then that I discovered Jamie-my red heided hero and Claire-the woman I wish to be.  Er, sort of.  It was in our local bookshop, The Book Gallery, that I found the major link to all things Outlander.  Set in Scotland in 1945 and 1743, it is a sweeping saga of love and passion, war and violence, and the best yet, time travel.  Claire is a nurse in the war with time on her hands and a husband of 7 years in her arms.  They are in Scotland for their 2nd honeymoon after years apart when she happens to fall through the standing stones, landing in 1743.  It is there that she meets Jamie, a 22 year old red-headed Scot of the clan MacKenzie.  Or rather, James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser.  They have a love that is unexplainable.  The writing is beautiful, the story amazingly heartbreaking.  You can't help but love them.
The first book I read was Dragonfly in Amber which was the 2nd in the series that at that time, was four books.  I purchased a used copy of Outlander at the same time and devoured them both.  They were THAT good.  I became a bit obsessed, I'm afraid.  I found Voyager later in another used bookstore and was hooked.  Addicted.
That Christmas I received Drums of Autumn as a gift.  The boys were in school and I had time to read, so why not?  That was when the waiting game began.  Book 5, also known as Fiery Cross wouldn't come out for a good while.
Well here we are 2014 and I am waiting patiently for book 8, Written in My Own Heart's Blood, also affectionately called MOBY.  It is coming in a few months.  Not only that but STARZ has begun filming in Scotland the story of Jamie and Claire who will be played by Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe.  I don't know if my heart can handle the double wait.  What do you think?
